Virgin Media launches ad sales agency

Virgin Media has launched Virgin Media Solutions, a new advertising sales house for the UK and Irish markets.

Virgin Media Solutions will represent all ad sales for Virgin Media, including video-on-demand and Virgin Media’s public WiFi services.

It will also act as the exclusive sales agency for all TV3 Group channels in Ireland, including TV3 and 3e.

“By bringing together the incredibly talented TV3 advertising team with Virgin Media we’re building an advertising arm with firepower across TV, on-demand and WiFi,” said Virgin Media’s chief digital entertainment officer, David Bouchier.

Gareth Vaughan Jones, who was previously head of advertising in Virgin Media UK, will head up Virgin Media Solutions UK.

Paula McCarthy, who previously held the position of brand solutions director of TV3 Group, will head up the Virgin Media Solutions Ireland sales team.

Both Paula and Gareth will report to TV3 Group Commercial Director Gavan Byrne.
