Cyfrowy Polsat launches new Android version of Ipla

Polish pay TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat has launched a new version of its Ipla OTT TV service for Android devices.

A new version of the Android app is now available via Google Play. The latest version of the app allows users to download VOD content, including Polsat series, to tablets and smartphones for offline viewing.

Content available on the Ipla platform includes shows from Telewizja Polsat such as Przyjaciółki, Świat według Kiepskich, Pierwsza miłość, Zdrady, Trudne sprawy, Pielęgniarki, Dlaczego ja, Ewa gotuje, Na ratunek 112, Rinke za kratami, Nasz nowy dom, Kabaret na żywo, and Gliniarze;

The service provides access to Telewizja Polsat archieve shows, with about 7,000 episodes available, alongside over 350 episodes for kids and 300 movies.

Some 7,500 episodes are available free of charge with advertising, including some Polsat shows, Venezuelan telenovelas, soap operas, movies and kids content. However, in order to download content, users must have an Ipla Extra package that allows them to watch videos without ads.
