Deutsche Glasfaser selects Agama for video assurance
FTTH network provider Deutsche Glasfaser is implementing Agama’s video service assurance solution.
Deutsche Glasfaser operates a far-reaching Germany independent open access fibre-to-the-home network, along with an IPTV platform that comprises linear TV, video-on-demand (VOD) and multiscreen services.
The company delivers free-to-air and pay TV channels to subscribers’ traditional TV sets via Deutsche Glasfaser’s set-top box, as well as to a TV-app for viewing on Android and IOS mobile devices.
By implementing Agama’s video service assurance solution, Deutsche Glasfaser will look to efficiently manage service quality and the customer viewing experience.
“Agama Technologies has an impressive track record of successfully supporting video operators in improving operational efficiency in everything from troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to customer-care processes,” said Niels Jonkman, director of media at Deutsche Glasfaser.
“This, in combination with a proven ease of integration with players and devices, makes us confident in our selection of Agama Technologies for the area of the video service management.”
Agama will exhibit at IBC on stand 5.A73
