Broadcast Solutions names products division chief

Antti Laurila

German broadcast technology provider Broadcast Solutions has named Antii Laurila as director of broadcast solutions products to head up its new broadcast products division.

The company said that the new unit would strengthen its position in the sale and rental of products worldwide.

Laurila will head up product sales and be responsible for all matters relating to the new division, reporting direct to CEO Stefan Breder.

Laurila previously worked for Nokia Networks before becoming CEO of Finnish system integroetor Qualitron, also serving as head of the company’s subsidiaries in Russia, Kazakhstan and Georgia.

“I very much look forward to my new position at Broadcast Solutions, being one of the biggest System Integrators in Europe. I am sure that, with my experience in leading international teams and pushing product developments, Broadcast Solutions can benefit from my skills. The development of the new Business division `Broadcast Products` will play an important role in the company’s future success,” said Laurila.
