Sky launches new ultra-fast fibre offering
Sky has launched an ultra-fast broadband product, Sky Fibre Max, offering speeds of up 76Mbps, in the UK.
The new service, Sky’s fastest broadband offering, will be available for £25 a month plus Sky line rental. The company is highlighting the ability of Sky customers to download music albums in five seconds and TV shows such as Game of Thrones in less than a minute.
The new flagship broadband product joins the pay TV operator’s existing portfolio of broadband offerings including Sky Fibre Unlimited, with download speeds of up to 38Mbps and unlimited usage, Sky Fibre, offering up to 38Mbps with a 25GB monthly usage cap, and Sky Broadband Unlimited, offering up to 17Mbps, with unlimited usage.
Sky reported in July that it had added 24,000 new broadband customers in the final quarter of they year.
