Channel 4 launches All 4 on new Android devices
Channel 4 has launched its on-demand and live-streaming service, All 4, on a range of new Android smartphones.
The service will now be available to users of devices including the Samsung Galaxy S7, the Google Nexus 6p, the LG G5 and the HTC 10.
At the same time, Channel 4 has released My4, a new feature in the All 4 Android app that is designed to help users quickly find and resume shows they have recently been watching.
“The All 4 app is a great way to enjoy all the best Channel 4 content so we are thrilled even more people will now be able to access All 4 through their Android device,” said All 4 head of product, Sarah Milton.
Channel 4 first launched All 4 on Android at the end of last year, having first unveiled the service in March 2015. All 4 was designed to be an all-in-one digital hub, hosting all of the UK broadcaster’s linear channels, digital content and other online services in one place for the first time. All 4 replaced Channel 4’s previous on-demand service, 4oD.
