Vodafone Portugal launches interactive shopping with El Corte Inglés

Vodafone Portugal has teamed up with retail giant El Corte Inglés to launch a new TV commerce channel, yubuy tv.

The channel will allow Vodafone customers to purchase products via the TV. Yubuy tv will showcase products available from the A Loja em Casa home shopping range marketed by El Corte Inglés, allowing TV Net Voz customers to purchase items via their the Vodafone TV box.

Viewers will be able to choose products from three categories – sport, health and beauty, and home – via an interactive menu that allows them to browse all products on offer.

Product deliveries can be tracked via SMS messages sent to purchases, with orders delivered to the address associated with the TV service account.

The service, which is the first dedicated channel of its type in Portugal, according to Vodafone, will be available via the Vodafone TV menu or the interactive apps on the box start-up menu.
