Google to offer Netflix search on Android TV

Google is updating its Android TV platform to include the ability to search for Netflix content.

The company announced on Twitter that content from Netflix would be visible via Android TV’s universal search function.

The search function will display Netflix content with background and cast information.

Searching for Netflix content is already available on the rival Apple TV platform.
