TV Connect Awards winners revealed
Netgem and EE, BT Sport, AirTies and Conviva were among the winners at the 12th TV Connect Awards yesterday, held at the Oxo Tower.
The award for Best TV Experience Enhancement went to Netgem with EE TV, while the award for Best Smart TV App was awarded to Tellybean Ltd for the Tellybean Easy Video Calling app.
The Best Consumer TV Device award went to AirTies Wireless Networks for the Air 3510 PLC, while the Best Cloud or CDN Service Delivery went to Huawei Technologies with the Huawei uCDN solution.
BT Sport won the award for the Best Live-Streaming Experience, while the award for Best Smart Home Device or Service went to SoftatHome for CloudAtHome Internet of Things.
The Best Multiscreen TV Service or Solution award went to Jiangsu Telecom and ZTE for their Fixed-Mobile Convergence Solution, while the prize for Best OTT TV Service went to Conviva.
The Best 4K Service or Solution award was won by Ooredoo and Huawei, while the award for the Best LTE Broadcast Innovation went to Intellicore for Intellicore Stadium.
The award for Best Millennial TV Offering went to Nordija A/S for the DR Ultra app, while the prize for Best Mobile Video Experience was awarded to FIA Formula E for its Mobile App.
The award for Best Marketing Campaign went to Freeview for its Set yourself free with Freeview Play campaign.
