Rovi appoints chief marketing officer
Rovi has appointed the former CEO of Internet of Things startup, SmartHomes Ventures, as its chief marketing officer.
Ted Schremp will be tasked with building and driving the company’s “global marketing vision”.
Based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, he will report to Rovi’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, John Burke.
Schremp most recently worked for SmartHomes Ventures, prior to which he was executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Indonesian teleco and media company First Media Group.
Earlier in his career was executive vice president and chief marketing officer with Charter Communications in the US.
“Rovi‘s ongoing investment in new products and technologies are improving the way consumers find, discover and consume content across devices at home and on the go. I am excited to join an industry leader that is bringing groundbreaking entertainment solutions to customers and viewers around the world,” said Schremp.
