Netflix takes back House of Cards in Poland

Netflix is retaining the rights to the fourth season of its flagship drama show House of Cards in Poland, along with the rights to offer the previous three seasons to its subscribers in the country, according to local reports.

The rights to House of Cards in Poland were previously held by pay TV operator nc+, with rights to the first two seasons also given to Sony’s Ale Kino channel.

The move is the latest example of Netflix retaining rights to House of Cards following its big bang expansion to 130 new territories in January.  The subscription video-on-demand service has also retained the rights to the show in France, where House of Cards was previously distributed by pay TV operator Canal+.
