NexGuard integrates watermarking in ALi STB chips

Civolution-owned forensic watermarking speclialist NexGuard has teamed up with chipset giant ALi to integrate its technology in ALi set-top box chipsets.

According to Civolution, the partnership provides compliance with the MovieLabs security specifications and enables protection of high value content with forensic watermarking in addition to CAS and DRM systems.
