Trace expands Asian footprint with deals in Sri Lanka, Taiwan

Trace is expanding in Asia after signing distribution deals with Chunghwa Telecom’s Multimedia On Demand IPTV platform in Taiwan and DialogTV’s DTH satellite service in Sri Lanka.

Chunghwa Telecom will carry a specific Asia feed of music channel Trace Urban, and sport celebrity channel Trace Sport Stars, with both channels available as part of its Family package.

DialogTV will offer Trace Urban to subscribers of its pearl, gold, and diamond packages.

“These new carriage deals mark further expansion of Trace’s audience in Asia and we have no doubts that our cutting-edge programming will open up many more opportunities,” said Laurent Dumeau, CEO Trace International.
