TV4 Group and C More unit sports units under Westberg

Swedish free and pay TV broadcasters TV4 Group and C More has named Erik Westberg as director of sports.

Westberg will manage the sports units of both Bonnier-backed TV4 and C More in a joint organisation, with the aim of creating a stronger sports offering for viewrs.

The two companies plan to group combine their sports units in the course of next year. Westberg will lead a review of the future of the unit.

Westberg was previously CEO of ATG-owned media company Channel 75. He replaces Fredrik Olofson at TV4 Group. The latter is taking a new role as sports rights manager across both TV4 and C More.
