Vodafone Spain offering Netflix free for six months
Following Tuesday’s launch of Netflix in Spain, Vodafone España has launched a promotion making the SVoD service available free of charge to its Vodafone One and Vodafone Red customers for six months.
The deal applies to new and existing customers with Vodafone One M or L packages that take the telco’s TV service. It is also available to Vodafone mobile customers with the Red L or Red XL packages. The version of Netflix offered to Vodafone customers, nominally worth €9.99 a month, will be available in HD quality on two devices simultaneously.
Vodafone, which was the first Spanish telco to announce it would carry Netflix as part of its TV offering, has teamed up with the SVoD provider in all three of the southern European markets in which it launched this week. Vodafone Italy is also offering Netflix with a series of exclusive promotional offers, while Vodafone Portugal announced yesterday that it would include the SVoD service as part of its TV offering from November 4.
Netflix subscribers in Spain will be able to view a range of content including Narcos, Marvel – Daredevil, Sense8 and Marco Polo and new titles including Beasts of No Nation, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Green Legend and Brad Pitt’s War Machine.
