Fox gives Ford expanded role

Fox International Channels has promoted Jeff Ford to senior vice-president, content development for Europe and Africa.

Ford, who will also continue in his current role as UK managing director for FIC, will report to Diego Londono, chief operating officer, FIC Europe and Africa.

Fox said that the move underscored its commitment to producing and owning original scripted content and formats for its entertainment networks internationally.

“Jeff’s new role will allow us to produce even more distinctive, bold, original scripted entertainment for our Fox International Channel brands”, said Jan Koeppen, President FIC Europe and Africa.

“FIC has a content heritage second to none and a proven track record of creating high quality, innovative formats.  This new role is a real opportunity to tap into the creative community in Europe.
