Mediaset Premium secures French and Scottish football

Italy’s Mediaset Premium has secured exclusive rights to French and Scottish top-tier football for the next three years.

The pay TV outfit will air live coverage and highlights of Ligue 1 and Scottish Premier League football for the 2015-18 seasons. Coverage of the French championship will kick off on August 7 with Lille v Paris Saint-Germain. Mediaset Premium will also cover the Coupe de France.

Coverage of the Scottish premiership will launch on August 1 with Celtic v Ross County.
