Altice makes senior appointments
Cable and telecom investor Altice has made a number of senior appointments.
The group, which owns Numericable-SFR in France and Hot in Israel and is the process of acquiring Portugal Telecom, has named Alexandre Marque as general counsel, effective from May 1, Gerrit Jan Bakker as group treasurer, effective from June 1, Fabrice Vasa as head of group tax and Natacha Marty as company secretary, both effective from July 1.
Altice has also named Malo Corbin as vice-president of strategy and business development, effective from September 1.
Marque has advised Altice since 2004. Bakker was previously deputy treasurer at Liberty Global. Vasa was head of group tax for Scheider Electric, while Marty was counsel in the corporate department of law firm Davis, Polk and Wardell.
Corbin was previously vice-president in the telecom and technology group of Lazard Group.
