Canal+ hires France 2 exec as sports boss

Canal+ has appointed France 2’s director of information, Thierry Thuillier, as its sports director, effective June 15. 

Thuillier will reports to Canal+ Group deputy general director, Maxime Saada, and will be responsible for editing Canal+’s pay sports channels.

He joined France Télévisions as director of information in 2010 and become programme director of France 2, one of the state-owned group’s national channels, in October 2013.
