Conviva appoints chief revenue officer

Over-the-top video optimisation firm Conviva has appointed industry veteran Brian Carr as its fist chief revenue officer. 

Carr was previously chief revenue officer at Appcelerator, prior to which he was senior vice-president of worldwide field operations for Good Technology. He has also held executive roles at firms like Simplex Systems, Clarify and Synopsys.

“Having a top notch go-to-market leader of Brian’s calibre on our team represents another key milestone in Conviva’s journey,” said Hui Zhang, CEO of Conviva.

Conviva partners with media companies and premium OTT video broadcasters and operators like HBO, Sky, and Foxtel to deliver optimised viewing experiences that maximise customer engagement.
