Lithuania’s Teo rolls out Cinema Club
TeliaSonera-owned Lithuanian telco Teo has launched a pay-monthly smart TV movie service called Cinema Club.
For €4.50 per month, the same price as one cinema ticket, viewers will be able to access a minimum of 50 “carefully selected and well-rated films,” said Teo.
The telco claimed that Cinema Club members can expect to see “the latest films much earlier than regular television subscribers,” with the service to offer both foreign and Lithuanian films.
“Working people usually can afford about two and a half hours for entertainment and leisure per day. Therefore, selected films available to Cinema Club smart television subscribers guarantee quality content, save time and family budget,” said Vilma Marciulevičiūtė, the head of Teo’s product and business development unit.
