UPC Cablecom expands MyPrime with new content

Liberty Global-owned Swiss cable operator UPC Cablecom is expanding its MyPrime premium subscription VoD service with content from Constantin Film. The operartor is also making MyPrime available to new subscribers for a trial price of CHF9.95 (€9.34) for 30 days.

The Constantin Film deal means that MyPrime in Switzerland will include titles such as Lost in Translation, Resident Evil and Step Up as well as German films including Der bewegte Mann, Die weisse Massai and Das Parfüm from May 1.

UPC Cablecom has also struck a deal with RC Release Company to take content from the WDR media group, Bavaria Media, RBB Media and Tonpool for kids content including Die Sendung mit der Maus, Sandmännchen, Shaun das Schaf and Käptn Blaubär, and action series including Schimanski and Das Boot.

From April 1, MyPrime subscribers will also have access to music concert content including Deep Purple live from Montreux, and a range of additional comedy content.
