Travel Channel launches on UPC Austria

Scripps Networks UK and EMEA has launched Travel Channel on UPC in Austria, following a distribution deal struck between Liberty Global and Scripps last year.

Travel Channel is the first network to launch on a Liberty Global platform since the pan-European distribution agreement was reached in October for Food Network, Travel Channel and Fine Living.

As part of the deal, Liberty Global has taken the rights to offer Scripps content across multiple platforms including cable, catch-up, subscription VoD and mobile.
