A+E Networks names UK general manager

A+E Networks UK has named Heather Jones as general manager, UK, reporting to A+E Networks UK managing director Tom Davidson. 

Jones will have responsibility for all aspects of the business across the company’s UK operation and portfolio of channels: HISTORY, Lifetime, Crime + Investigation and H2.  She joined A+E Networks UK in July 2013 as VP of programming. She previously worked for Paramount Comedy where she was managing director, UK.

“With her in-depth knowledge of the TV landscape, combined with a vision and passion for great entertainment, Heather is the perfect candidate to drive the UK business to deliver its full potential. I am delighted that she has accepted this well-deserved promotion,” said Davidson.
