QuickPlay announces support for Android TV

Online video technology specialist Quickplay has used the Consumer Electronics Show to announce support for Android TV.

Quickplay says its technology provides extensive third-party developer tools as well as an Android TV reference user experience for live TV and video-on-demand, supporting Android set-top boxes as well as companion devices.

Quickplay has formed partnerships with Comigo, Intellicore and Oregan Networks around Android TV.
