SPI launches FilmBox Premium in Hungary

Channel provider SPI International has launched flagship channel FilmBox Premium in Hungary and has restructures its local team in the country.

The Hungarian team, headed by Tamas Fulop, will now handle all operations including the distribution of TV channels and the expansion of multiscreen on-demand service FilmBox Live.

FilmBox Premium replaces the FilmBox Extra channel in Hungary. Channel highlights in the months to come include Fighter, Hyde Park on the Hudson, Red Sky, Being Flynn and Safe Haven.

“We want to make sure that our subscribers have total clarity as to which one of our numerous channels carries the most recent movie premieres and new TV series,” said Berk Uziyel, executive director at FilmBox International.
