Vivendi names investor relations chief

Vivendi has named Laurent Mairot as executive vice-president, investor relations and corporate development.

Mairot will report to Hervé Philippe, member of the management board and chief financial officer. He was chief financial officer of Maroc Telecom until July this year and has also previously served as senior vice-president, budget plan and financial conrtrol at Vivendi.

Mairot succeeds Jean-Michel Bonamy, deputy chief financial officer and head of investor relations since 2009, who has decided to leave the group.
