TivùSat numbers revealed

Italian free-to-air satellite platform TivùSat has delivered 2.3 million active smartcards to date, a figure that represents about 8% of Italian households.

According to TivùSat, the platform added 275,000 new smartcards in 2014, taking its total base to 2.3 million active smartcards or 1.91 million households.

TivùSat users can watch 68 national , international and local TV channels, including those of Rai and Mediaset, as well as Discovery’s DMAX, channels from Sky Italia and others. HD channels include HD versions of Rai’s three main channels, as well as Telepace HD, Supertennis HD and Arte HD.
