Swisscom teams up with Teleclub for SVoD
Swisscom has teamed up with pay TV provider Teleclub to offer a new flat-rate video-on-demand offering with several thousand hours of television series, classic films, children’s programmes, documentaries and sports programmes.
The service, Teleclub Play will cost CHF12.90 (€10.70) a month and is available from today, available to all Swisscom TV 2.0 customers. The offering includes more than 5,000 films, TV programmes and sporting events, with apromise to expand to 7,000 by the end of the year.
Series available include Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Lost and The Big C, while movies on the service include The Expendables, Gangs of New York, Silver Linings, Pulp Fiction and La Vita è Bella.
Teleclub Play is currently available on PCs and laptops and will be available on iOS smartphones and tablets from mid-December.
The video library will be activated in stages within three days for all customers and can be ordered from the TV screen.
As a promotional offering, all new Teleclub Play subscribers will receive the first three months for free if they sign up before January 31.
