Cirkus secures Driver for Nordic markets

On-demand service provider Cirkus, which specialises in aggregating a ‘Best of British’ catalogue or programmes, has acquired the exclusive subscription on-demand rights for Nordic territories to BBC One drama series The Driver.

Cirkus has secured on-demand rights for the series in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, following its airing on local TV.

The acquisition is part of Cirkus’s programme supply deal with Content Media, which also gives it on-demand rights to recent shows including Line of Duty, The Bletchley Circle, The Great Train Robbery and Amber.

Cirkus currently has distribution deals with cable operator Com Hem and DTT pay TV provider Boxer in Sweden, and TeliaSonera in Sweden and Finland.
