Belgacom sees TV growth
Belgacom, which now operates under the Proximus brand, saw its TV revenue-generating unit base grow by 33,000 in the third quarter, taking its TV subscriber base total to 1.558 million.
The 33,000 additions comprised 20,000 new unique customers and 13,000 second room sales.
Also during the quarter, Belgacom added 13,000 fixed internet lines, taking its total intenret customer base to 1.718 million.
Dominique Leroy, CEO of Belgacom said that the company’s revenue from TV “was solid, showing double digit growth in the third quarter on a continuously growing customer base and good results from our entertainment offer and our TV-Replay service that enables our Proximus TV customers to watch television at a time that suits them.”
