ITV reveals opening night line-up for ITVBe

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has revealed the launch night programming line-up for its new female-focused channel ITVBe ahead of its debut on October 8. 

The channel will feature Welcome to ITVBe, a two-hour one-off special presented by Peter Andre and Jamelia and produced by ITV Studios, a special edition of flagship show The Only Way is Essex set in Ibiza and TOWIE: All Back to Essex, a one-off special spin-off related to the same show and produced by Lime Pictures.

Alongside future series of The Only Way is Essex, ITVBe has also commissioned Seven Days With…, a reality show featuring the lives of celebrity couples produced by ITV Studios factual unit Shiver, and Celebrity Dinner Date, produced by Hat Trick.

Other shows on the channel will include The Real Housewives of Cheshire, produced by Monkey Kingdom.

ITVBe is the second new channel to be launched by ITV this year, following the launch of pay TV service ITV Encore in June.
