BSkyB’s Now TV adds YouTube to box
BSkyB’s OTT TV service Now TV has added YouTube to its Roku-supplied Now TV streaming box.
Now TV box customers can download the YouTube app from the Roku Channel Store, joining catch-up services from the main UK terrestrial channels, Sky News and the BBC Sport app. The box also offers apps including Facebook, TED Talks and Flickr.
“The Now TV Box offers a huge range of entertainment options to be enjoyed on your own big screen. The addition of YouTube means there’s even more to discover and experience,” said Gidon Katz, director of Now TV.
“With the flexibility to dip in and out of great movies, entertainment or sport with the relevant pass from Now TV, catch-up TV and now videos from your favourite YouTube channels, it’ll be hard to find an excuse to leave the sofa.”
