Virgin Media to live stream V Festival on YouTube

Virgin Media, the major sponsor for UK music event the V Festival, said it will stream footage from the festival live over its YouTube channel for the first time this year. 

Virgin will stream footage from its ‘Our House’ stage at the festival, which will feature at both sites of the two-leg festival in Chelmsford and Staffordshire, with seven cameras and Virgin superfast broadband capturing and delivering the action.

The acts due to be streamed include Rudimental and Hospital Records (All Stars), who headline the Our House stage at the Chelmsford leg of the V Festival on Sunday 17th August.

“This year we are inviting everyone to join in the ultimate house party experience, live from V Festival. By live-streaming the sound-clash from Our House, it means even more people can get involved and experience the festival – whether they’re logging on from their living room or their garden,” said Richard Larcombe, brand and marketing director at Virgin Media.
