Former Sony digital strategy chief joins General Harmonics

The former chief digital strategy officer of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Mitch Singer, has joined Canadian software development firm General Harmonics as vice president of digital business development. 

Singer, who also becomes special advisor to the board, will contribute to the strategic direction of the firm, including product development, marketing and business development/strategic alliances.

General Harmonics provides encoding technologies and its GH ‘DynamicMedia Platform’ offers mobile and terrestrial delivery of audio, video and related media.
