Sky Deutschland revamps Sky Go service
Sky Deutschland has overhauled its Sky Go online service with new content and a new interface that is designed to be simpler and easier to use.
Sky said the redesign is based on its recently launched subscription-free OTT offering Snap, with the entire Snap catalogue also now integrated into its own category within Sky Go.
Other new content available on Sky Go includes documentaries from Discovery Channel, Spiegel Geschichte, History, The Biography Channel, National Geographic Channel, NatGeo Wild and Motorvision TV.
Sky has also expanded its fictional program offering to include additional series and shows from partner channels Animax, AXN, Fox, TNT Serie, TNT Glitz, SyFy, 13th Street, Universal Channel and RTL Crime.
“With the new design and expansion of the program offering, we’re making Germany’s best online television even better, and further customising it to the expectations of our customers. It was a major challenge to depict the entire range and choice Sky brings to customers, while also maintaining the great functionality they have come to expect,” said Julia Schuler, vice president of product development at Sky Deutschland.
Sky Go offers Sky subscribers over-the-top access to Sky programming online, via mobile devices and on Xbox 360 consoles.
