A+E Networks expands reach in Slovakia

A+E Networks has expanded the reach of two of its channels in Slovakia.

A+E’s true crime channel Crime + Investigation has secured carriage with Slovak Telecom and Digi Slovakia, while History, which is currently available on Slovak Telecom, is now also available on Digi Slovakia.

Slovak Telecom, which is majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom, acquired Digi Slovakia from Romania’s RCS & RDS last year. The latter offers satellite TV and cable TV in a number of Slovakian cities, while Slovak Telecom’s Magio TV offering is available via satellite and IPTV.
