Tank Top TV publishes discovery APIs

London-based Tank Top TV has published a new suite of APIs, designed to make entertainment personalisation, recommendation, and universal search across OTT services available to anyone.

The new developer site has a range of “TV and movie-related interfaces,” aimed at entertainment service operators, platforms, and independent developers.

“Pay TV operators and other developers can now use the APIs to support cloud-based personalisation features for their own services. As well as watchlists, personal profiles, and recommendations, this includes Tank Top TV’s proprietary personalised listings algorithms, which have been proven to help users find TV and movies they want to watch more quickly than the traditional category-based listings used by most operators today,” said Tank Top TV.
