Abox42 to present third-generation IPTV set-top boxes

Abox42 is due to present its third generation of IPTV set-top boxes at this year’s ANGA COM in Cologne.

The set-top maker will also demo its OTT DVB solution, which includes its new Broadcom-based X-Series Smart STB platform with 4K UHD and H.265/HEVC support.

Abox42 specialises in IPTV and hybrid STBs. It says that its new generation of smart STBs are aimed at the global market and that its smart STB platform is ideal “for any IPTV and OTT content and service provider.”
