UPC extends public WiFi initiative to Krakow

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Poland has extended its public WiFi network rollout to Krakow.

UPC Poland previously launched public WiFi in the Baltic Sea resort of Sopot. The operator has rolled out a WiFi hotspot network based on the partitioning of residential WiFi routers.

The network is free to all UPC subscribers who have signed up for broadband at 30Mbps or above.
