TeliaSonera names corporate development chief
Nordic service provider TeliaSonera has named Henriett Wendt as head of group corporate development.
Wendt, who will be responsible for strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions across the group, is currently head of corporate strategy and participation management at Swisscom. She will join TeliaSonera by the end of August.
“I am very happy to announce Henriette Wendt as our new head of corporate development. Her experience from senior positions in the field of strategy and business development at Swisscom and Motorola in the past 10 years will be very valuable for TeliaSonera going forward,” said Johan Dennelind, TeliaSonera’s president and CEO.
In other appointments, TeliaSonera has named Ingrid Stenmark as head of the CEO office, which is among other things responsible for TeliaSonera’s stakes in associate companies MegaFon and Turkcell. Stenmark has served TeliaSonera in a number of roles including acting general counsel.
Separately, the group’s human resources director Karin Eliasson is to lave the company.
