Satellite drive TV growth for Croatia’s T-HT

Deutsche Telekom-owned Croatian telco T-Hrvatski Telekom saw its TV base grow by 6.3% in the quarter to March, reporting a total of 392,000 subscribers, including 22,000 enterprise customers. 

The telco’s IPTV base grew by only 1.6% to 338,000 while its small cable TV base was flat at 6,000. However, satellite TV customers grew by a massive 60% year-on-year to reach 48,000.

TV ARPU reached HRK80, up 11.5%. The operator had 623,951 retail broadband customers as of the end of March.
