Orange launches new interface for Canal+ subs
Orange France has launched a new user interface on its TV service for Canal+ subscribers.
Canal+ and Canalsat subscribers on Orange TV will be presented with a new user interface combining all their services in one place, with a menu that superimposes on whatever programme is showing at that time.
Other new features include access to critiques of shows from Allociné, Telecable SAT, Télérama and others, as well as integration of VoD with the linear offering.
Subscribers will also have access to Canal+’s Eureka recommendation service.
“We are delighted to be the first internet operator to offer these new Canal+/Canalsat experience to our TV customers,” said Christian Bombrun, director of marketing for entertainment and new media at Orange France. “The Canal+/Canalsat offering hugely contributes to the richness of Orange TV and the quality of our partnership has obviously contributed to the success of this launch. Our teams worked together for several months to guarantee its success with the satisfaction of our customers constantly in mind.”
