Motors TV destined for Freeview via Arqiva’s Connect TV

Motorsport channel Motors TV has signed up for carriage as part of Arqiva’s Connect TV platform on Freeview devices in the UK.

Motors TV’s deal with Arqiva will allow it to join the Freeview EPG, accessible to viewers with compatible internet connected Freeview HD set-tops and integrated digital TVs.

Motors TV is already available in the UK on Sky and Virgin platforms and has been broadcasting since 2002.
The channel will launch on the Arqivia Connect TV platform on February 27.

Scores of motor sport fans will now have access to the widest and most diverse range of live, delayed and highlights programming that features both international and domestic championships,” said Frederic Viger, head of programming and acquisitions at Motors TV.
