History makes headway in Latvia

A+E Networks UK is to extend the reach of its History channel in Latvia following a deal with leading cable operator Baltcom.

The channel will be carried on Baltcom’s Social, Basic, Extended and Thematic packages, giving Latvian viewers the opportunity to view content including Pawn Stars, Counting Cars and upcoming series Big History. 

History launched in Latvia in 2010.

“Our goal is to deliver great TV content for our customers and to offer the best entertainment channels in our TV packages. Adding factual entertainment channel History from A+E Networks UK to Baltcom’s TV offering is a strong step in this direction,” said Diana Pujate, Baltcom TV content director.
