Eurosport to air World Tennis Day matches

Eurosport will be the exclusive pan-European broadcaster for six classic tennis matches to be held around the world to promote 2014 World Tennis Day on March 3.

Eurosport and Europort 2 will broadcast live in Europe all matches from the three showpiece events taking place in Hong Kong, London and New York to mark the global celebration.

Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Na Li are some of the stars participating into the World Tennis Day, now in its second year. The event is produced by the World Tennis Federation and StarGames.

Eurosport is the host broadcaster of the World Tennis Day Showdown presented by Financial Times in London and will produce matches including veterans Andre Agassi v Pete Sampras and Ivan Lendl v Pat Cash.

Eurosport also has the digital rights of all matches and will show them live and on demand on Eurosport Player, Eurosport’s online simulcast TV service.
