Fashion TV extends deal with SatLink

Israel-based teleport provider SatLink Communications has extended its deal with Fashion TV for the global playout, content management and distribution of its HD and SD channels. 

SatLink will distribute Fashion TV via satellite to Asia on the AsiaSat 3S satellite at 105.5° East, to the Americas on Intelsat’s IS805 C-band platform at 55.5° West and to Europe on Eutelsat’s new Hotbird DVB-S2 platform at 13° East.

SatLink will also be provided the broadcaster with content delivery to the Israeli pay TV platforms Yes and Hot via a fibre link.  All services will be encrypted via a Viaccess system.
