Amino chooses Witbe for testing

Set-top box provider Amino has chosen quality assurance specialist Witbe’s technology to automate testing of its digital TV set-top boxes.

Witbe’s automated testing solution relies on robots that are capable of replicating the actions of a TV viewer on the set-top box.

For many years we have employed automated test systems but had found there was a limitation with their ability to interpret quality of experience. When we found out about Witbe, we realized there was a solution for those limitations, and a whole lot of possibilities left unexploited,” said Frazer Smith, head of software quality assurance at Amino.
