Com Hem in IPO talks

Swedish cable operator Com Hem has reportedly held preliminary talks with London-based private-equity firm BC Partners about an initial public offering.

According to a Bloomberg report, which cites three people familiar with the matter, discussions are at an early stage, with no decision yet reached about the stock market float.

BC reportedly hasn’t appointed advisors to manage a sale, with a final decision on the IPO expected to be made once a replacement has been found for outgoing CEO Tomas Franzen, who is due to leave the firm at the end of this year.
