Fox to air Super Bowl live in Europe for first time

Fox International Channels is to broadcast live coverage of the US Super Bowl live in Europe for the first time. 

The Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos on February 2 will be aired to over 12 million homes on Fox Sports in Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey and Cyprus, and on the Fox channel in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.

Fox said the airing of the match in Europe represented a new step in its strategic commitment to sports.
